The Bible Bible Ecclesiastes - Bible study by verse and Encouragement

The Book of Ecclesiastes is an introspective, philosophical journey examining the meaning of life “under the sun” (life apart from God). Penned by "the Teacher" (often identified as King Solomon), the book concludes that earthly pursuits, wisdom, and wealth are meaningless vanity, urging readers instead to fear God and find joy in His daily gifts.

Ecclesiastes 9:18

THE LIFE LIVED IN LOYALTY AND INTEGRITY IS THE ONLY ONE WHICH HAS TRUE MEANING.

Let your garments be always white; let not oil be lacking on your head (Ec 9: 8).

Try to please God in everything you do.

Better is the end of a thing than its beginning; and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit (Ec 7:8).

Avoid precipitation and haste. Do not make important decisions in an agitated spirit. Determine to obey those in authority over you, provided it does not go against God's Will.

Lead a life filled with the Holy Spirit.
Serve the Lord with all your strength.

Do not try to substitute obedience for wisdom.
Cultivate the fear of the Lord.
Fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man (Ec 12:13)

People who do not fear the Lord God do not respect God's Will and laws, resulting in God's wrath over man.
